Reflecting on Data Protection Milestones: One Year of the Data Protection Act and Five Years of Data Protection Regulation in Nigeria

On 19-July-2024 at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), a significant event unfolded as we gathered to discuss the one-year anniversary of the Data Protection Act and the five-year milestone of the Data Protection Regulation in Nigeria. The event, organized by the esteemed Faculty of Law, featured Dr. Vincent Olatunji, the National Commissioner, as the guest speaker.
